Description :

The partner countries would like to enhance their long-term climate policy. The implementation phase of the project shall improve governments’ readiness to implement actions in line with the long-term transitions necessary to limit warming and achieve the objectives of the Paris Agreement. The implementation phase of the project will provide governments and other relevant stakeholders with tools to design or strengthen LTS in line with national development goals. The main phase of the project shall Identify opportunities to enhance nationally determined contributions (NDCs) on the basis of the LTS.
